Join us for a 3 part seminar on the history, formation, contributions, and legacy of Fidel Castro. Through readings and discussion we will seek to better understand his leadership as well as our evaluation of proletarian internationalism today.

Presented by Ike Nahem, Organizer, New York-New Jersey Cuba Si Coalition, 2nd National Conference for the Normalization of US-Cuba Relations to be held in New York City, March 20-22, 2020. Ike is a longstanding anti-imperialist organizer and revolutionary Marxist. A retired Locomotive Engineer, Ike operated high-speed trains from New York City to Washington, DC for twenty-five years and is a proud member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, a division of the Teamsters Union. Ike has written and spoken extensively on the history and politics of the Cuban Revolution and the lives of Fidel Castro and Ernesto Che Guevara, and many other questions of US, Latin American, and world politics and political economy.
